Calendula officinalis which is also known as Marigold, Pot gold is used as medicine since ancient times. But its
use in Homoeopathy is since 250 years by Dr. Samuel Hahnemann; who discovered and developed the system of Medicine.

Calendula is having grate antiseptic antioxidant properties. It has the property of healing the injury which is more than any antiseptic available today. Calendula mother tincture that is juice of calendula flower is applied in ointment base or directly onopen cuts,abrasions or accident injury locally.
It is used when wounds with tendency of suppuration or erysipelas.Old injury which is neglected and gets any type of gangrene with Calendula mother tincture dressings save the part affected.It is also used where hemorrhages occurs after tooth extraction.
